Facerly™ Gold (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data securely. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your data.

Uploaded or Captured Photos (Face Data)

Facerly™ Gold processes only the image that you voluntarily provide — whether it is:

Uploaded from your device’s photo library, or
Captured using your device’s camera within the app (if you choose to take a photo).

All images are treated the same way:

They are used solely to generate your AI headshot and are never stored, logged, shared, sold, reused, or used for facial recognition.

This is the only type of face-related data the app processes.

Facerly™ Gold does NOT:

extract biometric identifiers
perform facial recognition or identity verification
analyze or store face geometry
detect or infer age, gender, or emotional state
build user profiles or train AI models using your images

Only the raw image you provide is processed temporarily for the purpose of generating your headshot.

Technical Information

We may collect basic device information (e.g., device model, OS version) for performance and troubleshooting.

We do not track or profile users.

Section 2:

How We Use Your Data

Uploaded Photos

Your uploaded photo is used exclusively to generate a personalized AI headshot.

We do NOT use your photo for:

identity verification
facial recognition
training AI models
analytics or advertising
storage, reselling, redistribution, or reuse

There are no secondary uses.

Section 3:

How Your Data Is Processed & Retained

Secure Processing

Photos are sent via encrypted connection (HTTPS) to a secure AI model hosted on Google Cloud.

Processing occurs in-memory only.

No Storage at Rest

Uploaded images are not saved on our servers or on Google Cloud storage.

Neither Facerly Gold nor Google retains your images.

Google Cloud does not store, reuse, or access your images beyond performing the one-time requested processing.

Immediate Deletion

All uploaded photos and generated images are deleted immediately after processing or when your session ends.

Retention time: 0 seconds beyond processing.

Section 4:

Data Sharing

We do not share your uploaded photos or face data with:

advertisers
analytics services
external AI providers
partners or third parties

All processing occurs solely within our private infrastructure on Google Cloud Run.

Section 5:

User Consent

By uploading an image, you affirm that:

you own the photo or have permission to use it
no minors appear in the photo
no copyrighted or prohibited content is included
you consent to the temporary use of the photo solely for generating an AI headshot

No image is used without your explicit action to upload.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure servers, to protect your data throughout the process.
